Doug Mitchell Event Parking

If you are attending a concert event at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in the evening, chances are that hundreds of vehicles will be arriving at the same time.

We recommend you to arrive early and plan for traffic delays.

Follow the below directions in order to make your arrival and departure experience as smooth as possible.

If you are arriving from SW Marine Drive or 16th Avenue, head North on East Mall from 16th Avenue (do not take Wesbrook Mall).

While Thunderbird Parkade is the closest parking facility to the event, parking at Health Sciences Parkade, an extra 5 minute walk, will enable you to find parking more quickly. Parking at Health Sciences Parkade will also allow you to drive out of the facility with a much shorter delay at the end of the event.

Health Sciences Parkade event rate: $10

If you are arriving from NW Marine Drive/Chancellor Blvd, head South on Wesbrook Mall and turn right on Thunderbird Blvd to park at Thunderbird Parkade OR turn right on Agronomy Rd to park at Health Sciences Parkade where exit times at the end of the event are normally much quicker.
