During snowfalls, surface lots are cleared according to operational priority. We strongly encourage parking at the nearest parkade, which provides cover from snow. Parking at a surface lot is done at the driver’s own risk
There are various loading zones throughout campus. Look for signage that indicates how long you can stay parked at the loading zone (usually between 15 to 30 minutes.)
Yes, all parkades have stalls designated for motorcycles. Get in touch with the Parking office if you wish to purchase a Motorcycle Parking Permit.
UBC currently has Level 2 EV charging stations in the following locations:
Vehicles occupying an EV station must be charging AND display a valid parking permit OR paid parking time.
Parking fees can be paid via Honk Mobile App or at the pay stations (which are separate from the charging stations).
Charging fees can be paid through the Honk Mobile App or using a web browser with internet access.
The Parking Office is located inside the UBC Bookstore at 6200 University Boulevard.
Daily and long-term parking permits can be purchased online through your Parking Account.
Hourly parking can be purchased through the Honk Mobile App or at pay machines and meters with cash and credit cards.
