What are the UBC Traffic and Parking Rules?
I added a license plate to my Parking Account that already has a ticket. Do I become responsible for the ticket?
Yes, you are responsible for any tickets associated with license plate numbers that are added to your Parking Account. The ticket(s) may also prevent you from buying a new permit until the debt is paid.
I disputed my ticket. How long should it take to receive a reply?
Response times vary depending on the volume of disputes received by the Parking Office. When a decision is made, you will receive a response to the mailing address or email address provided. Should the Traffic Notice be upheld, you will have 14 days from the date of the decision to pay the base amount of the Traffic Notice.
What happens if I don’t pay for parking at UBC?
Vehicles parked at UBC are subject to the Traffic and Parking Rules of the University of British Columbia. If not complied with, vehicles may receive a ticket and be impounded.
