We recommend customers do not add a vehicle’s license plate number to their parking account or permit unless they are positive that the license plate number do not have any outstanding tickets.
Yes, you are responsible for any tickets associated with license plate numbers that are added to your Parking Account. The ticket(s) may also prevent you from buying a new permit until the debt is paid.
Response times vary depending on the volume of disputes received by the Parking Office. When a decision is made, you will receive a response to the mailing address or email address provided. Should the Traffic Notice be upheld, you will have 14 days from the date of the decision to pay the base amount of the Traffic Notice.
You have 14 days to pay the reduced amount of your ticket. If the debt owed is not paid by the deadline, it may be referred to a collection agency and the vehicle may be towed next time it’s parked on campus.
